I would like to take this opportunity to say; “WELL DONE!” to BT Vision; for showing just how simple it is to separate a vulnerable person from their money. The UK Internet provider, has found a way to get people to pay for a service – that they have already paid for!
BT Vision – Shame on you!
The BT Vision ‘TV Replay’ service costs a set monthly fee. The PROBLEM is, here in the UK, we all get this feature FOR FREE ANYWAY; via the excellent BBC iPlayer! There is 100% no reason to buy the same thing twice. UK viewers have already paid a licence fee or tax to the BBC – so that the content we are now being asked to buy could be made in the first place!!!
Yep, we are being asked to buy what we have already paid for – and what we already get for free!
It’s appalling that it is being offered because many older people or vulnerable people will buy it out of ignorance that it’s already available for free!
