I have recently featured three well-known ‘tech people in the blog. John C Dvorak and Molly Wood showed themselves to be true ‘tech stars’ – whilst Natali Del Conte seems to have really pissed a lot of people off!

I reviewed John C Dvorak’s excellent Cranky Geeks show a few days ago. Imagine how surprised I was when the crank himself took the time to get in touch with me and thank me for the review. The guy has class.

Molly Wood
I mentioned Molly Wood’s new babe-tastic look earlier this week and a reader suggested it was all down to photoshop! I never knew Molly Wood was a reader of this blog, but she is and was also cool enough to take it in good humor and even leave a comment too! We love you Molly!

Natali Del Conte
I blogged recently about how Natali Del Conte decided to erase all her fans and viewers from her Twitter follow feed. MAN has Natali pissed a lot of people off! In the end, we were left with just ONE comment in defence of Natali Del Conte – and it was hilarious!
I am not making this up, but it was her former colleague, Jason Cross from extremetech.com, who tried to defend her - when he himself had to admit that he too wasn’t in her twitter follow feed!
In my opinion, I think Natali Del Conte could learn a thing or two from Dvorak and her ultra-credible and massively popular CNET co-worker Molly Wood!
Natali Del Conte is only on TV because of who she knows. She is more interested in what she looks like than she is in technology. A total airhead.

Interesting post but im not sure I agree with you. Cranky geeks. Its very average at best. Molly wood? No idea who she is. The best thing about natalie del conte is how she looks. Her looks are why shes on the tv talking about gadgets and why guys like Loyd case never will be, even though hes a genius.

Regarding Cranky Geeks, it’s always going to be a matter of opinion. In my opinion, the show is excellent.
If you haven’t heard of Molly Wood – why not point iTunes at Buzz Out Loud and let me kow what you think.
Regarding Natali Del Conte, you are wrong. Yes, she is quite attractive but so are a lot of people who never ‘make it.’ I’m not sure if you know this, but Natali came to being in front of the camera, after working off-camera as a tech writer!
Also, can we all remember that Natali is still extremely young and that it’s totally natural for a woman of her age to be heavily into fashion – especially as she would get tons of flack if she turned up on screen looking bad.
I mean – if it’s a crime to look good and to report on tech – I must be public enemy numbers one, two and three. :)
