Google Chrome still not ready for the Mac

Understandably, many Mac users are asking when will they finally get the chance to use Google’s Chrome browser.  Chrome has been available for PC’s since last year, indeed we did a Chrome review of the initial beta back on 2nd September 2008!

In a recent post on the Google Mac Blog, Google announced that development of their Chrome browser for the Mac is “coming along nicely.” Don’t you just hate it when developers use those complicated, technical terms?

Actually, this is now available for mac and linux. Google announced it as a development platform, but I find the mac version working well.

      Thanks Sean,

Interesting that you found that build working well – it’s widely considered to be ‘flakey’ at best.
