Steve Jobs: The news that no one reported this week!

For the larger part of 2008/2009, tech news sites were buzzing with stories of doom and gloom regarding the health of Steve Jobs.  No matter what Apple were launching or what news was coming out of Cupertino, most coverage ALSO contained some kind of comment on how unwell / thin Jobs was.

Fast forward to last week and the news is different.  This time, it’s all about the fact that he launched into a 6 minute rant against Google and their android platform.  Some of what Jobs said was accurate, some was just plain incorrect (such as Windows being “open”, for example).  However, there was no mention anywhere that he gave such an energetic speech; which was reminiscent of Jobs at his best.

Whatever you think about Jobs’, the tech space would be a lot more dull without him.  It’s good to see him at his ranting best!
