According to Twitter’s own about page, Twitter has 175 million registered users.  But, are those the real numbers?

    This only focuses on how many people Twitter users follow, but ignores all else. What about the Twitter accounts that have millions of followers, but only follow 1 or 0 people? For example, @ConanOBrien. How “big” are those users to Twitter? A further in depth study that examines more than how many accounts users follow would need to be done to determine how “big” Twitter really is.
